2nd Grade Room 104

Welcome to 2nd grade!  I am so grateful for our new year of learning together!

 

I'm Mrs. Wilkie, and I am happy to say we have a student teacher from UIC, Ms. Lily Wu.  She will be here most days assisting with groups and adding to some awesome lessons.  I 

have been teaching at James Ward for 17 years and have taught Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades during my time here.  I especially love teaching literacy and am excited to share our new curriculum in Math as well as Literacy.  I have my Masters in Education from National Louis University, and am a certified Reading Specialist.
