About Ms. Raceles

My name is Ms. Raceles! I am very excited to be your child’s teacher this year. Pre-K is such an exciting time for learning. In Pre-K we help our students grow and learn, fostering creativity, curiosity, and care for our school community. Families play an important role in a child’s education. I want all our families to feel supported. Always feel free to email me. I am here to help you and your child in any way that I can.

Fun facts about me:

• I am passionate about teaching! 
• I was born in Canada and grew up there.
• I have lived in Chicago for over 12 years and love everything about it!
• I have my M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education from DePaul University.
• This is my 5th year teaching at James Ward School.
• In my spare time I enjoy reading, dancing, practicing yoga, playing music, and practicing Filipino (Tagalog) and Spanish.
